>While these Soyjacks were originally created by rightist circles such as 4chan and such, they've… changed, a bit. Some people started growing attached to the cartoons and made various edits of the soyjacks in different, weird situations such as dancing, or soyjack edits that seem to be parodying something that doesn't exist, or soyjacks with fruit in their heads. One of such edits is the picture you see of two soyjacks just kind of hanging out with eachother, with no offensive background that I know of.

"soyjak.forum/threads" archive.

  • Welcome back
I would like to make a proposal regarding the database. Seeing the recent shut-down and the sheer amount of content lost due to one measly server going down, I believe it'd only be right accordingly that @Magister @Cat and whoever else with access to it, reupload the "/threads" section of the site onto an archival site. By simply uploading an archive of the the /threads folder, we as the userbase will be able to download and mirror a snapshot of every thread on the site at once within a reasonable file-size, seeing as no actual attachments will be held onto. Yes, it would only be bare-bones HTML files of every thread, but that alone should be more than enough to archive basic conversation!

This would also bring absolutely zero privacy concern, as the HTML files in of themselves do not hold any metadata or credential information! I see nothing but upsides here, and I'd like to see this happen for the sake of preserving this forum perpetually. A simple snapshot of right now even, would do just fine, and shouldn't go beyond 8GB seeing as it's only basic text and formatting. I could do this all by hand with HTTrack, but it would take days of hassling with Cloudflare scraper protection, and this is clearly the better option.

Final note, but it's nice seeing you all again. Long time no see.
